Queensland Nickel

Queensland Nickel operates a palmer Nickel and Cobalt Refinery wholly owned and operated by Clive Palmer. The company operates offices located globally in New Caledonia, Indonesia and the Phillippines.

Located 25 kilometres North West coast of halifax Bay in Townsville, the Refinery mangers 2464 hectares of land. With the company holding a significant portion of land it is committed to ensuring that all procedures run through the company are environmentally sensitive and work to reduce the environmental impact of business activities.

The Refinery is a world leading organisation in the production and marketing of high quality nickel which has been operational for over 35 years. Employing approximately 1000 people, the Refinery is a heavy contributor to the local community which also provides sponsorships to a range of schools, clubs, and sporting associations in the area.
