QGC

QGC is wholly owned by BG Group, a global energy company. QGC is a natural gas explorer and producer focused on having the worlds first conversion of gas from coal seams into liquefied natural gas.

One of the largest capital infrastructure projects underway is the Queensland Curtis LNG project (QCLNG). This entails the expansion of QGC's gas production in the Surat Basin Qld, construction of a 540 kilometre underground pipeline to Gladstone and the building of a plant to liquefy the gas on Curtis Island.
