Established in 2010, Mining Family Matters is an Australian owned & operated professional support & practical advice service for families working within the Mining, Oil & Gas sectors. Alicia Ranford, the brainchild behind the company, came up with the idea of its creation after finding her own children were suffering from the effects of having a FIFO dad.

Teaming up with other professional services, we are able to offer support & advice in areas such as psychology, career advice, tips, articles & information on how to survive FIFO & general advice & information from real people in this situation & their experiences.
