MetroCoal is an Australian coal company based in South East Queensland in the Surat Basin, with projects focused on thermal coal in Columboola, Bundi, Norwood, Juandah & Dalby.

MetroCoal Limited acquired the Cape Alumina company in November, 2014. The purchase of Cape Alumina's Bauxite Hills project also gives MetroCoal exploration permits in the western Cape York Peninsula covering around 1,900 square kilometres.
