Idemitsu Australia

Idemitsu Australia Resources (IAR) is an Australian subsidiary of Japanese company Idemitsu Kosa. IAR was formed in 2006 to manage coal operations of the Boggabri and Muswellbrook coal mines.

IAR also have a joint venture with Ensham mine in Qld and also the Tarrawonga Coal Project in NSW.

These projects combines produce over 10Mtpa of thermal and PCI coals for export customers, predominately Asia.
